Rick is a results-driven executive with a track record of growing both public and private – energy, construction, mining and engineering- companies. Mr. Barrett has a keen ability to quickly move companies from start-up to high growth by following a proven approach to people, processes and systems. Rick has extensive C-level experience working in private equity and venture capital backed businesses.

Prior to joining Exciter, Rick was the Chief Executive Officer of Blackeagle Energy Services where he successfully transformed the company from a regional, DJ Basin centric, business to one with operations in all the country’s major oil and gas plays doubling the size of the business between 2013 and 2017.

Mr. Barrett holds a Master of Business Administration degree from Norwich University, a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from Plymouth State University and has completed Cornell University’s Executive Leadership program.
