Project Overview
Working for a power company, Sure Shot Directional Drilling placed 2- 6” bore guard pipe (PVC) approx 1200’ . This needed to be completed in one continuous bore because of wetlands and private property owners. The easement was extremely limited.
Project Details
Any long bore has challenges; the bore hole had to be reamed with the proper mud mixtures and set up for relief potholes to relieve the pressure- otherwise the pipe could be lost while pulling back (a costly mistake that experienced companies like SSD avoid).
